What You’ll Find

Clip ’n Climb has more than 20 different climbing lines, each with its own colourful design and challenge.

There are walls with different shapes, grips and difficulty levels, giving little adventurers plenty of opportunities to test their balance, strength and confidence. They can climb at their own pace, move between the different challenges and return to their favourites as often as they like during the session.

Before entering the arena, everyone is fitted with a harness and taken through a full safety briefing. The automatic belay system means the children can climb without an adult having to hold the rope, although staff are nearby if they need any help.

The climbing section lasts approximately 55 minutes following the briefing and harness fitting.

For the Grown Ups

There is seating beside the climbing arena, so grown-ups can watch without having to take part. The onsite Starbucks coffee dock is also very handy for grabbing a coffee while the children climb!

Adults can book a climbing space too, making this a fun activity for the whole family rather than something the children have to enjoy alone.

As Clip ’n Climb is located inside Dundonald International Ice Bowl, you could easily combine your visit with ice skating, bowling or adventure golf for a full day out.

⭐ Book your session online in advance, especially at weekends and during school holidays

⭐ Arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked time to get checked in

⭐ Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in

⭐ Closed-toe shoes are required, so wear trainers rather than sandals or Crocs

⭐ Encourage nervous climbers to begin on one of the easier walls and build their confidence

⭐ Use the toilets before the safety briefing so no climbing time is missed

⭐ Jewellery should be kept to a minimum
