What You’ll Find
The main attraction for families is the large modern play park.
There is a great selection of equipment, including swings, slides, climbing frames, tunnels and a brilliant helicopter-themed climbing frame. The play area has equipment suitable for different ages, with plenty to keep both younger and older children entertained.
The park also has large open spaces, lakes, wetlands and paths where you can enjoy a walk or let the kids bring their bikes and scooters.
There are benches and picnic tables dotted around, making it an easy place to bring lunch and spend a little longer.
For the Grown Ups
There is no café at Ballyarnett Country Park, so bring your own drinks, snacks or a picnic.
There are also no public toilets, which is worth knowing before you arrive, especially if you are visiting with younger children.
